Founded at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on November 17, 1984, the New York Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi has built a community centered on friendship, leadership and lifelong support. What began at RPI as the local sorority Kappa Phi became New York Epsilon, creating a chapter that combines the values of Pi Beta Phi with the individuality, ambition and creativity of our members.As the women of New York Epsilon, we strive to create meaningful relationships that extend far beyond our collegiate years. We support one another academically, personally and professionally while encouraging involvement across campus and within the Troy community. Through philanthropy, sisterhood, leadership opportunities and shared experiences, we foster a welcoming environment where women are empowered to grow, lead and become Friends and Leaders for Life.
